As Samsung unveils brand-new gadgets at its Unpacked event, it’s also showing off the experiences it’s built with partners such as Google, Microsoft, and Spotify.
Even more than most giant technology corporations, Samsung adores its over-the-top live produce launch extravaganzas. In 2018 and 2019, it hired out Brooklyn’s cavernous Barclays Center for the midyear copy of its Unpacked event and packed it with attendees. They watched the unveiling of the new edition of those years’ different versions of the Galaxy Note smartphone, which involved lots of fancy audiovisual accomplishes and other rock-and-roll concert-like flourishes.
