galaxy home miniAccording to the rumors and reports, Samsung was expected to officially announce the availability of the Galaxy Home Mini smart speaker at its Unpacked event. That did not happen, but it seems that the speaker is actually now available, although not exactly in the way that many of us imagined.
In a report from TizenHelp, it has been discovered that over in Korea, Samsung has officially exhausted the Galaxy Home Mini, but it seems that it will only be available if you were to pre-order the recently-announced Galaxy S2 0 smartphone. This offer will be valid until the 26 th of February, although it does not mention if it will be available for purchase after that.
For those who are unfamiliar, the Galaxy Home Mini is essentially a smaller form of the Bixby-powered Galaxy Home. It follows in the footsteps of designs like the Amazon Echo Dot and the Google Nest Mini where it is targeting users who don’t consequently need a smart-alecky talker, but want the smart-aleckies of a digital deputy baked into one.
The smaller footprint also means that it should be more convenient to place around the house, while also being more economical. The machine was initially launched back in 2019 where it was was available as a beta for those living in Korea. There is still no parole on wider availability, but hopefully Samsung will have more details soon.
