Qualcomm’s participation with Microsoft is widening past chips for PCs. The two are partnering on a string of initiatives to foster augmented actuality and the metaverse, including the development of custom chippings for AR glasses. The corporations were reticent on the specific characteristics of the microchips or the end products, but they predicted “lightweight, ” energy-efficient wearables.
