Transcript: My identify is Karen Palmer and I’m the narrator from the future. And I’ve come back to enable people to survive what is to come through the capability of storytelling. So I cause cinemas that watch you back exerting artificial intelligence and facial identification. As they watch my cinemas the narrative diverges in real time depending on their emotional response. Therefore, they can become conscious of their subconscious behaviour. And if they require learn to kind of neurologically reprogram themselves by going into the film more than once and changing their sentiments and changing the narrative of the film.
Perception iO, taste input/ output is my second of my neural networks trilogy lines. Perception iO keeps the participant in the future world of law enforcement. You see in the future of law enforcement is about artificial intelligence. But someone has to program the artificial intelligence and in this case it’s going to be you. So you are going to be sitting in what is training data for the future of law enforcement. So you will watch a series of two cinemas from the feeling of law enforcement coming into a situation which is chaotic. Both cinemas will have a lead character, but the only difference is that the precede will be in one film color and one cinema will be white. And as you watch the film and the action unfolding your excitements will determine how the policeman will respond to the person.
So if you regard the person is someone that needs assistance maybe you will call for backup. If you deem that the person is someone that is a threat perhaps you may arrest them or perhaps you may shoot them. This experience is to realize you aware of your own implicit skew. Because the only divergence with these two attributes is their color. And I likewise want you to acquire the participant aware of how artificial intelligence is built. It’s not built by a computer. It’s built by a person. The film fixes you conscious of how your sensations alter the narrative of the film, but it also stirs you aware of how your passions feign the narrative of your life.
I used to direct music videos and TV commercial-grades about a decade ago and I became very aware of the superpower and the influence of really linear cinema. How I used to style somebody in the video of the dancers and I’d go on the street and I’d learn beings wearing that style. And I truly felt like a great responsibility in what I was doing. So much so that I various kinds of came at the music industry and I very much wanted to explore the true power and possible of digital media. And I wanted to find a way not to project an image or representation or creed onto someone but how to use digital media as more of a feedback loop-the-loop so it could enable you to discover your true potential.
