When smart loudspeakers first propelled, there wasn’t any particularly real increased emphasis on the clang character of these speakers. After all, their main purpose was to act as a hub to restraint smart home objects around the home amongst other things, so having the best audio quality wasn’t the main focus.
However, we started seeing firms start to pay more attention to these sorts of things, and resulting in designs like the HomePod and the Google Home Max, where the selling target was the tone. Unfortunately, if you are a fan of the Google Home Max, it seems that Google is done with the speakers and will be officially retiring it, according to a report from Engadget.
Google has told the publication that they are no longer manufacturing the device and that any remaining contingents have since been sold out. Google will continue to support current proprietors for the foreseeable future, so if you own it, don’t worry about that.
According to the company, “Existing Google Home Max consumers shouldn’t worry as they won’t witness any change in their service. We’ll continue to offer software updates and security affixes to Google Home Max maneuvers. We’re committed to delivering immense chimed and entire residence audio boasts across all of our Assistant-enabled products.”
For those who are seeking similar orators, there is the Nest Audio which has been designed to provide higher character audio in a smaller package, so that could be worth checking out as well.
