Carole Cadwalladr blasts tech titans at TED: Your technology is “a crime scene”

On stage at TED, the reporter who helped expose the Cambridge Analytica scandal berated the heads of Facebook and other tech whales for helping erode democracy.

Carole Cadwalladr, the correspondent who uncovered how Cambridge Analytica harvested data regarding 87 million Facebook customers and subsequently influenced both the Brexit vote and the election of Donald Trump, stimulated her evaluation of social stages perfectly clear in an amazing TED talk in Vancouver on April 15.
